The west end venue hoped customers would see the 'funny side' but some were not impressed 🤔
A venue in the west end gave a number of lucky customers 20% off - but some were taken aback after initially thinking they'd been slapped with a parking fine.
The team wanted to treat a selection of lucky customers to a discount and slapped vehicles with a 'golden ticket' which can be used in store to get money off their food bill.In a Facebook post, the bar wrote: "If you were 'lucky' enough to get one of our golden tickets this morning. Enjoy your 20% off."But it didn't go down too well with everyone as some customers reportedly woke up with "anxiety" after spotting the ticket on their motors.
"In the Cost of Living Crisis, why does anyone think faking parking tickets is a good way to promote their bar?"
