The resort lingers at the bottom of a league table of seaside destinations in the area
A beach town which finished last out of all of Yorkshire's seaside destinations in Which? magazine's 2022 guide has seen a tourism boom.
That's an increase of 1.85m - or 61%. While the lifting of coronavirus restrictions will have played a part, Bridlington experienced the greatest percentage increase of Yorkshire's six main seaside resorts, reports YorkshireLive. While Scarborough had the smallest percentage increase in tourist numbers, the town still saw numbers increase by more than a third . It also had the greatest number of visitors between June 2021 and May 2022.
