NRL: The NRL 360 panel argue about whether the NRL Grand Final time should be changed.
Once again, debate has raged over what time the NRL should start the grand final , with one pundit believing a daytime start would ensure better television ratings .
“The fans are the most important people in our game, and only 1 in 10 of them want a night time grand final,” Rothfield said on NRL360. “The AFL grand final on a Saturday afternoon up against the races, junior sport, everything else, rated 4.1 million.“I listen to different people, there is an appetite for an afternoon grand final.”
“Two things. It’s a better quality football game because it’s in the dry. It’s not greasy. Also, kids get rusted on,” Tallis said.
