AFL: David King has provided his thoughts on the Essendon Bombers and where they are going wrong with their start to the 2024 season.
After a demoralising 69-point loss to the Power during Gather Round, the Bombers seem to be stuck in their same mediocre ways of the past and are facing the heat.

New to Kayo?“The more you look at it, the more you think that this is a long way from the finished product and how long is it going to take?” The Bombers are ranked 15th in the competition for the opposition’s ability to transition from defensive 50 to inside 50, and they’ve plummeted to 16th for opposition score per inside 50%.
King highlighted vision where the Bombers had no tall representation down the line, which just increases their difficulty to transition the ball.
