On Christmas Day, with her 29-year-old brother gone, Sandy Casillas held a rally with family and friends to call attention to her brother’s murder and remember his life., according to Houston police.
“He loved the holidays,” Sandy Casillas said. “If you had the honor of knowing my brother, the holidays were everything for him.” She described her brother as the life of the party, a class clown and a goofball. She said he was always making the people around him laugh, even in serious moments.
