The Wig Fairy, a boutique in Beverly Hills that specializes in high-quality, human hair wigs for women suffering from hair loss, was broken into, the store announced.
The thieves, who cops believe are women wearing hoodies and face masks, were caught on surveillance camera shattering the front glass door using poles and rocks around 3:30 a.m.
“Unfortunately our salon was broken into this morning. We assure you that we’re working tirelessly to get your orders and the salon back on track,” An announcement posted“Although our doors will be closed today. Please feel free to call us or message us with any questions. We hope to resume regular operation hours Wednesday 8/23.”
The shop said they closed for business due to the theft, but they did plan to open their doors back up on Wednesday.The business shares the store with its non-profit arm, the Brave Project, aimed at helping rebuild confidence in women with hair loss issues as a result of cancer treatment, alopecia, burns or genetics.Salon owner Mona Zargar says the business began seven years ago from her dining room, before finding the current location in Beverly Hills.
