We asked you to tell us something you would only know if you grew up in Nottinghams - and you didn't disappoint
Every place has those unusual little things that make it special and, fortunately for us, Nottingham has lots of them.
One person said, "Cock on a stick," If you tell someone from another place that, they might look confused or even worried if they're a man. But they'll smile when you show them a sweet shaped like a rooster at the famous Goose Fair. Another person brought up the saying: "'Eh up me duck' is same as hello." Even Shakespeare used this friendly greeting, and it's really old - from when the Saxons came to Britain.
It makes you think what the "Right Lion" must feel like, watching his brother get all the fun. But both lions are loved in Nottingham. Kids love to climb on them and adults enjoy taking photos with these famous lions. One person remembered the "Palais de dance dancehall," where PRYZM nightclub was before it shut recently. It opened in 1925 and has seen lots of different music and dancing styles over the years.
