The NT opens its borders tomorrow, allowing most interstate travellers to explore the Territory freely. But different rules apply to arrivals from Sydney and Victoria.
Even though all of Greater Sydney is classed as a hotspot, travellers from other parts of NSW will still be able to visit the Northern Territory without quarantining.
"Don't stop, don't get out of your car, don't visit a hotspot area in Sydney. It has to be continuous travel from where you were, to Sydney Airport, and on," Mr Gunner explained.Nothing changes. International arrivals will still need to do 14 days forced, Government-managed quarantine and will need to pay the $2,500 fee themselves."We have been COVID-free, but it was never expected that we would remain COVID-free," he said.
