The fire is burning in the semi-rural suburb of Anketell, just days after a large bushfire threatened lives and homes in Baldivis just a few kilometres away.
A bushfire is threatening lives and homes in the semi-rural suburb of Anketell, about 35 kilometres south of Perth.
An emergency warning has been issued for people in an area bounded by Battersby Road, Anketell Road, Tuart Road and Thomas Road. People in the area are being advised their lives are in danger and they should leave the area now if the way is clear.The fire is out of control and moving fast in a north-easterly direction.
A number of roads in the area have been closed, including Thomas Road from Kwinana Freeway to Cumming Road.
