This time, a 45-year-old Bergen County man drowned while swimming at a Wildwood beach.
A man drowned Wednesday while swimming at a Wildwood beach — the third drowning in Cape May County in the past two weeks, authorities said.
Eyewitnesses told officers that the swimmer, identified as 45-year-old Williams Pathy of Hillsdale, was found floating about 100 feet from the shore and was unconscious and unresponsive, the department said in a release.
