A third person is feared missing in Eugowra after a woman saw a body in floodwaters while she was being rescued.

On Monday morning a police officer was helping an elderly woman who was trapped at the intersection of Loftus and Parkes Streets. She saw the body of a man in floodwaters, but the officer couldn't leave the woman and she lost sight of the body, NSW Police said.There have been no more reports of people missing in the area so police are asking the public to help identify the person as they continue to search.

The man seen in floodwaters is described as being Caucasian, aged in his 20s, with a slim build and fair hair.The search continues for Ljubisa 'Les' Vugec, aged 85, who was last seen at a home in Evelyn Street, Eugowra, about 9am Monday.
