Discover the Macoda Pillow, a top-rated memory foam pillow designed for maximum comfort and cool sleep. This detailed review explores its features, benefits, and customer feedback.
I realize this isn’t the most exciting product to be in the market for but if you’re shopping around for a pillow, allow me to be the one to put you onto one of my favourite bedding brands. I had never heard of Macoda a few short years ago when I came across the bedding brand but I was drawn onto the website through a combination of five-star reviews and a desire to find a pillow that would equal parts support my neck but feel cool during those hot summer nights.
The Macoda Pillow is certainly not “cheap” by any standard — it’s $150 — but customers can pick up a second pillow for half price, bringing the total price for two pillows to $225. It will be delivered to your home for free and comes with a 60-night trial and a three-year warranty, so the good people at Macoda are pretty certain you’re going to enjoy it. And three years later I can safely say that I have. The memory foam pillow is substantial to the touch, there is nothing flimsy or flexible when you bend it in half — it’s as springy now as it was when I first purchased it. There is a normal and a “cool side” to the pillow, with open structures on it that allow for direct airflow and minimal heat build up. A special gel glaze has also been applied to the cooler side, minimising the temperature build up even further. The cushioning memory foam inside each pillow is uniquely infused with bamboo charcoal to create a whole new level of comfort. With the addition of charcoal, the pillow can absorb moisture, dissipate heat and even neutralise odour. What’s more, all Macoda pillows come with the brand’s signature bamboo cover. Not only is bamboo one of the best fabric choices for the environment but it is also incredibly soft, silky and luxurious. I take this pillow everywhere with me — to stay at other people’s houses, to holiday homes and even camping. There is no environment it hasn’t thrived in. And I’m certainly not the only one enjoying their new sleep tool. “I bought this to replace an expensive one purchased overseas in 2017. It’s much cooler than the previous one (and just as comfy) and that matters here in central Queensland. It’s a good quality pillow,” one man wrote. “I have tried a LOT of different pillows that promised to reduce your neck pain and headaches and guarantee you a restful night sleep and been have been very disappointed and wasted lots of money,” said another. “However this one is very different, it actually does what it says, it is very comfortable ... so much so I look forward to going to bed now.” A third added: “Had to buy myself one as my husband claimed the first one I bought.” To purchase a Macoda pillow, visit the website here
