This article includes an independent design study by Maxim Shershnev that’s neither related to nor endorsed by Alfa Romeo.‘s return to the U.S. market, many fans of the brand have been yearning for a Giulia coupe to complement the sedan. Now, an independent designer has imagined one up, and we could honestly see it being sold today., and while he doesn’t work for Alfa Romeo, he does have design experience with companies like Volkswagen, Audi, Renault, and Marussia.
We can certainly see influences of those cars in things like the headlights, taillights, grille, and wheels, while on the opposite end of the spectrum, things like the flat hood, rounded roof, and overall shape are quite reminiscent of the Giulia coupes of old.There are also other features, like the B-pillar cut line, bumper fascia, and side detailing, that are all-new, but manage to work very nicely with the design language Shershnev has created.
