Kamilaroi and Samoan musician Becca Hatch performed alongside Coldplay at their Sydney show last week. The 23-year-old wrote and performed her own verse for the iconic band' song 'We Pray' at Accor Stadium, in front of 80,000 people. On their tours, Coldplay invite local artists to submit a video of them performing an original verse to the song and if chosen, the artist gets to join the band on stage.

"My verse was about praying for change," she said. "I pray for freedom, I pray for change, I pray for my mob still locked up in chains... On the front line watching mob shine," she sang to a sold out arena. Ms Hatch said that it was a once in a lifetime experience. "I feel like I haven't really taken it in. "That's the biggest crowd that I've ever performed to in my life...
