Dermot O'Leary recently broke his work heavy Instagram theme by sharing a throwback family photo to his grid from the 1980s – safe to say, fans were shocked when they first saw it
Dermot O'Leary – who pranked Alison Hammond in an April Fools joke on This Morning – has left his 887K Instagram followers stunned after posting an old family photo to his social media.
"Maria, Nicola, and urchin O'Leary… the 'Bad Girls' era," the former X Factor host captioned the sepia drenched shot. Meanwhile, Nicola sported a black leather jacket and a yellow collared jumper which she wore over a black buttoned up top, complete with large gold hooped earrings and a locket necklace. Dermot's sister styled her sandy blonde hair in a voluminous pixie crop reminiscent of the era, and a style that was favoured by many celebrities at the time.
"Human League tribute band??" one fan teased, referencing the Sheffield based synth pop band most famous for songs such as Don't You Want Me, Electric Dreams, Mirror Man and Fascination.Further users chimed in on the conversation to reminisce over the 80s, with one person adding: "I remember that era so well! Lovely pic :)" as another said: "Maria has my exact hairstyle from the 80s.
