This Morning bosses are said to be gunning for Ben Shephard to take on the role following his 'impressive' stint on the ITV show as they plan Phillip Schofield's permanent replacement alongside Holly Willoughby.
This Morning star Josie Gibson has been left feeling "used and a bit betrayed" by ITV bosses according to reports which suggest the flagship breakfast programme is looking at securing Phillip Schofield's official replacement, and she isn't in the running.
Bake Off host Alison Hammond, Dermot O'Leary, Craig Doyle, Josie Gibson and Ben have all stepped in to co-host the show, however senior bosses have been looking for a permanent replacement for Phil. They said Josie knows producers don't want to get rid of her, but added: "She's just feeling unsure about what her role within the show is going to be and had hoped for more of a feeling of job security rather than being pitted against other presenters."
