Stillwater in Launceston is the latest in a string of venues across the country cutting their hours as employers struggle to fill positions.

Co-owner Bianca Welsh said the decision was a difficult one to make, but necessary to keep the business viable. Daisy Towler is a venue manager at a restaurant in Launceston and says it can be hard to find and retain quality staff.
