More than 120,000 solar panels will be installed on Moorebank Logistics Park, allowing tenants access to continuous renewable energy.
When completed, the interstate terminal will service modern, 1800-metre trains, each with the potential to replace more than 100 B-double trucks. At full capacity, Moorebank will take an estimated 3000 heavy truck movements off Sydney’s roads daily.Advertisement
The capacity could be used to meet changing needs of tenants, James Doyle, investment director at Solar Bay said, including the production of hydrogen to fuel zero emission transport. The MLP stands next to two intermodal terminals which link to interstate rail freight and, through a direct connection to Port Botany, the import-export freight trade. Larger than the Sydney CBD in its scope, the site has 133,000sqm of warehousing.$1.2 billion distribution centre at the estate
