Houston was the better team in the first half and tried to push for a second goal. Houston got to halftime with a two-goal lead when Darwin Quintero scored in first-half stoppage time. Quintero’s sixth goal applied a severe blow to the Fire, who are at the bottom of the table in the Eastern Conference.
