In the wake of the Roe v Wade ruling in the US being overturned, protesters in cities across Australia say they will fight any attempts to wind back reproductive rights.

Thousands have rallied across Australia in a show of solidarity with abortion rights protesters in the US following the overturning of Roe v Wade.

The state's only abortion clinic closed almost five years ago but surgical terminations are available in state-run hospitals.Jess and Kathy Cepeniuk made their way to central Hobart for the protest.
