It has started its 10-day run at the Forest Rec
Hundreds of people descended on Nottingham's Forest Rec at the weekend as the Goose Fair return for the start of its 10-day run. The event attracts individuals and families from miles around who come to enjoy the rides, games and food stalls.
“We even brought my grandma round in her wheelchair one year!” She added that the family traveled from Chesterfield to the attraction but would gladly travel even further.Basford resident Teddy Enow, 26, attended the fair for the first time on Sunday, October 1. He said: “It’s beautiful here and I see a lot of beautiful people. There’s a lot of positive vibes. While I’m here I want to do something daring that I’ve never done before.
He added that the event brings in a lot of money for the stall every year, but this depends on the weather.
