Abortion, transgender issues top worries of conservatives at Texas Youth Summit

"The threat of suicide is often used from left-wing activists to say that if you don't go along with this, then your child is going to commit suicide," Stuckey said."There's actually no statistics showing that. It's actually just that kids who are caught up in gender ideology are often very troubled.
One teen said she's concerned about an interview she had with a church while looking for an internship next summer. She asked church officials where they stood on issues like gay marriage and abortion. Isaiah Varella, an 18-year-old Liberty University student who lives in Port Arthur, said he is volunteering at the summit after attending the event for the past two years.
