Breaking: Three men have been confirmed to have the coronavirus in NSW with another four people being tested
The first man arrived in Australia on January 6 and the second on Januray 19. The arrival date of the third man is yet to be confirmed.
The announcement comes after Australia's first coronavirus patient was confirmed in Melbourne on Saturday morning.Credit:"I can confirm, we will be releasing the details of the flights associated with the first one of the cases. But for the other two cases, they became unwell, quite a substantial period after the flight in. And so we do not believe that they were infectious at the time of their international flight.
The total number of confirmed cases in China now stands at 1,287, the National Health Commission said in a statement on Saturday. China Eastern Airlines flights from Sydney to and from the Chinese city Xi'an via Wuhan have been cancelled through to March 29. The airline is contacting affected customers.
"The health and safety of our customers and employees is our number one priority," a statement from the airline said on Friday.
