A car was travelling near Grafton on the NSW north coast when it struck a tree and killed the 43-year-old driver and two children inside the vehicle.

A twin cab utility was travelling along Kangaroo Creek Road, Coutts Crossing, about 30km south of Grafton when it left the roadway and struck a tree, according to police.
