An Indonesian man's family is grieving his loss from afar after he hitched a ride with friends when his car broke down and died when the car collided with a tree in the Adelaide Hills.
The victim has been identified as Ari Utomo, a man who moved from Indonesia to Australia for a better life for himself and his family.
"He was such a nice guy, he always put a big smile on his face whenever he said hello to everyone," friend Tama Napitupulu told 9News.
