Oxhey Village Summer Fayre 2022.
From 1.15pm a 3km cross country fun run will begin from the Oxhey Green Lower Paddock Road. There is no need to book in advance you can turn up on the day. Entry is free and anyone under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.Three prizes are awarded in each category: Golden Oldie , Best Mover, Best Hair Do, Waggiest Tail, Most Like its Owner.Entering in one category will cost £2 and £5 to enter three.
Arena one, will have performances from the likes of Charlotte Amelia School of Dance and the Rock Choir.Arena two, will have a KT Karate Demonstration and St Albans Morris dancers, then at 3.30pm, the tug of war will begin.It will start at 11.45am and his held across Mary Forsdyke Gardens, Warren Lake and The Three Crowns pub.The event, formerly known as Bushey Acoustic Festival, changed its name to reflect the diverse range of acts taking part.
