"Prior to the actual incident, there was a bit of an altercation between the victim and the offenders," he said.A 19-year-old Gold Coast woman and a 32-year-old Rocklea man have both been charged with accessory after the fact to murder.Police Minister Mark Ryan welcomed the news of the additional arrests."Crime that is particularly violent and has tragic outcomes is of concern to everyone.
Yesterday, Jarod James Miller, 21, from Tinana, near Maryborough and Jye Sebastian Webb Italia, 18, from Pimpama — appeared in Southport Magistrates court charged with murder and assault. Neither man spoke during their brief appearance but Mr Webb's lawyer Rodney Keyte said outside court his client was in a "world of shock right now".Police are reviewing CCTV vision of Cavill Avenue, and have appealed for witnesses who may have seen or filmed the fatal attack to come forward.
