League City White 10s set for Saturday showdown with NASA Blue
NASA Blue all-star Eli Stroud demonstrates his bubble-blowing abilities Friday night at Trabanino Field. Teammate Tate Snodgrass tried to give him some competition, but Eli claimed the bigger bubble. NASA Blue makes its District 14 debut Saturday night at 7 at the LC Sportsplex.The annual District 14 Little League tournaments are about to hit their stride as not one, not two but three all-important district events are about to leave their respective launch pads this weekend or Monday.
The first of those 20 games was held at NASA Area Little League’s Rudy Trabanino Field where League City White motored by NASA Red 23-1 in a game that was stopped in the fourth inning. The tournament will also feature two more Saturday night contests. Bayside Little League will host the winner of the Baytown-Island contest that was held Friday night on Galveston Island. Texas City’s complex will host a contest between Santa Fe and Texas City. That one will start at 7:30.
