More than three-quarters of Australians expect COVID-19 cases to drop or stay stable, suggesting that the country is getting less spooked by the pandemic.
The expectations are broadly in line with expert opinion, with the end of winter expected to bring some reprieve in The polling results suggest Australians are not becoming complacent, with testing rates increasing from the two previous surveys in January and March – probably on the back of the wide availability of rapid antigen tests.
