Victoria Police have charged three people after an allegedly stolen car was followed by the Air Wing through Melbourne’s western suburbs in the early hours of Sunday morning.

Police attempted to intercept the vehicle before the suspects sped off through the streets of the city’s west.Victoria Police then opted to use the state’s aviation unit Air Wing to track the allegedly stolen Honda.

The vehicle was allegedly seen driving erratically at speeds up to 160km per hour before it was dumped in a residential street in Hoppers Crossing.A 16-year-old Truganina girl was charged with burglary, theft of motor vehicle and bail offences and remanded to face a children’s court at a later date.
