Ed Sheeran fans are fearful that Thursday night's concert chaos could be repeated, after the pop star performed to a record-breaking crowd at the MCG.
Sheeran kicked off his first concert in Melbourne for his Mathematics Tour on Thursday night to a record-breaking crowd of 108,000.Of the seven gates, only one was open, and fans were forced to queue for paper tickets to get inside the show.

Picture: Jake NowakowskiMany concertgoers took to social media to share their anger at the system not being able to “keep up” with the demand, after selling a record amount of tickets. "Hey @Ticketek_AU your system has crashed AGAIN! Thousands outside the @MCG Not able to access their tickets. You have failed again at a major event,” one Twitter user said.Others have already started to panic about a similar failure ahead of his Friday show, sharing pictures of “no longer active" tickets.
"@Ticketek_AU ummm this is for Ed Sheeran tomorrow night.. anyone else having the same issue," one fan wrote to Twitter. "I’ve tried refreshing, updating and even deleting and reinstalling downloading the app. Still can’t add Ed Sheeran ticket to Apple wallet. #help."
