Millions of Australians could be at further risk after hackers targeted a second ticketing giant. Ticketek Australia contacted users on Friday night to inform them of a “cyber incident” impacting “account holder information” that was stored in a cloud-based platform, hosted by a “reputable, global third-party supplier”.
In a statement, Ticketek encouraged customers, “on a precautionary basis”, to “remain vigilant for potential phishing emails and other scam communications, including from organisations purporting to be from Ticketek”.
