Cyber Safety Expert Susan McLean says “excessive use of technology can be problematic” and she can’t see the 60-minute limit on TikTok being a solution.

Social Media giant TikTok is introducing a new 60-minute daily screen time limit for users under 18 years old, however Ms McLean said there are ways to opt out and lie about people’s age.

“The content they are being fed often is “inappropriate”, Ms McLean said stating it is giving them a very “skewed view” on reality.
