Australian buyout firm Quadrant Private Equity and its co-investors have mandated financial advisers to assess potential growth options for pan-Asian entertainment business, TEEG.
Street Talk understands Quadrant and its fellow TEEG shareholders have had investment bank Goldman Sachs and boutique Record Point assisting with a strategic review, designed to consider where to take the business and how to fund future growth.
Investment banks have been trying to drum up buy-side mandates, sources said, realising that Quadrant is five years into its holding period and likely to be considering exit options. Quadrant’s Chris Hadley and Jonathon Pearce are on TEEG’s board, alongside Malcolm and Anthony Steinberg and group MD Scott Blume.
