The tiny hidden Christmas market just outside Leeds with a Victorian theme and Christmas carols
When you think of the Christmas Market in Leeds, many will think of the sadly cancelled German Market, but there are plenty more close to the city for you to still get into the festive mood.
Many people get dressed up in old-fashioned Victorian clothing, particularly the shopkeepers. Many local schools also participate with many of the children dressing up in old fashioned outfits to sing Christmas carols. It all adds to a great old-time feel to the whole event, particularly when surrounded by Otley's old Victorian buildings and courtyards. Stalls are also set up to sell Christmas gifts and treats with plenty to go around.
