How is it so effective at stopping spills? 🤔
In this latest clip, the intrepid YouTuber tests to see if it's possible to run a track relay carrying a whole plate of food on an unspillable tray. He begins by showcasing how spills happen in a cup of water.
He speculates that cups spill over because the water held inside them continues to move when the cup is suddenly stopped. The momentum of the water wants to keep pushing the cup forward but the cup is now static so the water goes upwards hitting the side of the cup and causing a spill.But what if the cup could move with the water? It would stop the water from hitting its top and would therefore not spill. This is the same principle that lies behind the unspillable tray.
