Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem's first reactions hype up the franchise's latest installment. The animated reboot, which was spearheaded by Seth Rogen, finds the four Turtles setting out on a quest to be accepted as normal teenagers through acts of heroism when they are confronted by a mysterious crime syndicate and an army of mutants. The movie's ensemble voice cast includes newcomers Micah Abbey, Shamon Brown Jr.

The early cut of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem debuted a six-minute standing ovation, as captured by the videos above, which convinced director Jeff Rowe to come up on stage to take a curtain call. He later said to The Wrap: Being in the room and feeling all the reactions and hearing all the laughter was amazing, but what really stood out to me was to see our movie received and appreciated in that way by a lot of people who really love and care about animation.
What TMNT: Mutant Mayhem First Reactions Reveal About The Movie Though the early cut featured some unfinished animation, it is more than enough to give audiences a taste of what to expect from Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem, including a score from the Oscar-winning duo Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross of Nine-Inch Nails fame. The reboot is intended as a new take on the classic comic characters that focuses more on the teenage aspect of the Turtles, as Rogen has explained.
