Despite just premiering in theaters on August 2, 2023, it appears the film can now be rented or purchased from home as of September 1. This means anyone waiting for the film to arrive at home before seeing it can now watch it.
Mutant Mayhem Sets Up The Future Of The TMNT The newest film starring the Turtles had an estimated budget of $70 million, while its box office sits at $138.2 million at the time of writing. While the film has made back more than its budget through ticket sales, it’s unclear how profitable the movie was due to money spent on advertisements. Releasing the film digitally so early may have been a financial decision due to its box office performance.
This allows easier access to the start of a new iteration for the Turtles as well.
