Beale signed Cantwell from Norwich City for the Ibrox club in January this year.
The playmaker has taken to social media to provide his tribute to the former Rangers manager.
Saturday's 3-1 home loss to Aberdeen proved to be the final nail in the coffin for his tenure in the Ibrox hotseat.Ultimately though, three defeats in seven Premiership games so far this term proved costly. This resulted in Rangers falling seven points behind Celtic in the title race just two months into the season.
In the meantime though, Cantwell - who was signed by Beale from Norwich in January - has thanked the Englishman for allowing him the chance to play for Rangers.
