A three-year-old boy has been left fighting for life after he was hit by a car outside a Perth apartment complex. 7NEWS
said the boy was hit by the black Mitsubishi Outlander in the driveway of the Innaloo apartment building on Windell Street about 3.45pm Sunday.
He was taken to Perth Children’s Hospital with serious injuries to his legs and several skull fractures. He remains in a critical condition in an induced coma.Witness Lili Khaliqy was sitting on a swing nearby talking to the boy’s mother when “out of nowhere a car was coming”. “We screamed for him to get out the way,” she told 7NEWS. “It looked really serious. Everyone was crying.”
The 12-year-old said the incident unfolded so quickly that they did not have the chance to call out to the boy sooner.“There wasn’t enough time.” CCTV footage captured the frantic moments after the crash when Fynn’s mum carried the boy to a neighbour’s front lawn for help.
