Tom Brady’s training camp break isn’t the only one he’ll get this season.
The Buccaneers quarterback, 45, will get every Wednesday during the season as a rest day, whichBuccaneers coach Todd Bowles said Brady won’t be the only veteran to get rest days.
“For most players, it’s important,” Bowles said Friday in reference to practice time. “But I think when you play in the league a certain amount of time and you prepare a certain way, it’s not necessary to practice that guy all the time. You’re doing to practice, but you’re not going to practice all the time. You’ll get a day off here and there because it is a long season.”
