Real Madrid midfielder Toni Kroos has labelled former Liverpool transfer target Gabri Veiga's impending move to Saudi Arabia as "embarrassing."
Newcastle United and Chelsea were also said to be in the hunt to sign the 21-year-old while in recent weeks Napoli have appeared to be the frontrunners to acquire his services. However, it seems that the Serie A champions have been gazumped by Saudi Pro League giants Al Ahli. Journalist Fabrizio Romano tweeted: "Gabri Veiga to Al Ahli, here we go! Bid accepted by Celta, player also said yes. Coach Jaissle was crucial for Veiga to accept. Al Ahli sign their secret top target.Kroos took to Instagram to comment on the reporter's original post. The Germany star pulled no punches as he labelled the decision of his La Liga rival as "embarrassing."
