Former prime minister Tony Abbott has revealed the “highest levels” of the Malaysian Government believed those on board MH370 were killed by a suicidal pilot. “My understanding, my very clear understanding, from the very top levels of the Malaysian Government is that from very, very early on here they thought it was a murder suicide by the pilot,” Mr Abbott told Sky News.
“Mass murder suicide by the pilot.” MH370 vanished on March 8, 2014 after leaving Kuala Lumpu airport. It was destined for Beijing but the world lost contact over the South China Sea. Mr Abbott – who was Prime Minister at the time – has spoken in detail about his conversations with Malaysian leaders for the first time in Sky News documentary MH370: The Untold Story – which will air on Wednesday night on Foxtel.
