The Biden Administration's top official in Australia says the two countries are in "lock-step" in its response to Vladimir Putin's war on Ukraine, warning Washington and Canberra will use "every tool at our disposal".
"Instead of dividing the United States from its allies and partners, Russia's actions have united the world and they have further isolated Russia," Mr Goldman said. US President Joe Biden has promised $US350 million to support the Ukrainian military in its fight against Russian forces. Mr Goldman described Vladimir Putin's war as, "an invasion of choice an invasion that is already leading to catastrophic loss of life and human suffering".
