Queensland’s peak tourism sector group has asked the state government to boost planning for separate e-scooter and bike-only paths to help balance their popularity with safety.

He suggested including clearer definitions in the new crackdown and use of the state’s tourism visitor information centres to share messaging alongside provider education and data collection.
