Football Insider has been told by Alan Hutton that Tottenham may have escaped a big problem with James Maddison as injury better than first feared.
James Maddison’s injury may not be as bad as it looked for Tottenham., former Spurs defender Alan Hutton suggested the protective boot Maddison was spotted in when leaving the stadium on Saturday may have just been a precaution., the 26-year-old was also seen on crutches following the Lilywhites’ 2-0 win over Man United.
The former Leicester star joined Ange Postecoglou’s side this summer and has already established himself as an important member of the new-look Tottenham side. The midfielder has played the full 90 minutes in both of Spurs’ Premier League games and fans will be hopeful that he is available for Saturday’s match against Bournemouth.Get Exclusive transfers news at Football Insider's YouTube TV channel
