According to the Telegraph , Spurs are set to open talks with Forest over a possible move, as they aim to beat off competition from the likes of Chelsea and West Ham for the Wales international. The Reds are looking for a fee of over £50 million for the player if they are to cash in. Forest have already turned down offers for Johnson this summer, with Brentford’s £35 million rejected by the club. The 22-year-old started Saturday’s 3-2 loss against Manchester United, his third start in a row in the league.
