A new measure has been introduced in an Australian state as a Covid-19 cluster continues to grow, with more cases expected in coming days.

Four new Covid cases were recorded in the state overnight, with three cases linked to a cluster in Katherine and one a returned traveller in his 60s who flew back on a Qantas plane from London to Darwin on November 10.

As a result, certain communities in the Katherine region must wear masks indoors when social distancing is not possible for 72 hours. The measure comes into effect from 2pm local time today.
