Pogacar is at the back of a split in the field, with Van Aert suddenly at the fore of a leading group that is peeling away in the style of a Classic race. The race is kicking off already. Incredible, after what happened yesterday. They eventually come back together, though finally someone manages to get away, three riders take ten seconds off the front, a fourth trying to join them.
