There’s been an extra allowance for stragglers today.Bryan Coquard takes the intermediate sprint but he’s nowhere near touching distance of Girmay. The gap reduces to 45 seconds after a bit of chicanery. Back in the field, the other sprinters are coagulating into the grupetto.
